Classiske Motorbåter is the Norwegian equivalent to CYA. It is only in Norwegian, but there are some nice pictures there. Georg Moe, chairman of CMB writes: "The boats are primarily of Norwegian design, by Rich. G. Furuholmen and Otto L. Scheen jr. In addition there are a lot of Swedish boats, and a few Danish, English and American boats. Most of the boats are small to medium size cruisers, and some runabouts/launches. CMB was started in 1992, one of the objectives was to establish an association where we tried to document the history behind each boat in particular, and have a closer look at the motor boating history in general. The main activities are centered around Oslo and Bergen, but there are members scattered along the coastline from Sweden in the east to Trondheim in the north. During the summer we participate at boat shows (like Risør Trebåtfestival, sometimes mentioned in WoodenBoat and Classic Boat) or just meet regularly at sea, during the winter we try to arrange seminars either related to the motor boating history or purely technical issues."
