2005 Gaff Rigged Clapham Sharpie Yawl

Considered a Minocqua Non-Perineal Yawl design, Sarah is a classic wooden auxiliary sailboat. She is a 2006 re-creation of an East Coast Light Draft Sailing Yacht (LDSY) built in 1892 and designed by Thomas Clapham. The design was based on "Sharpies", small sailing craft used for oyster dredging and fishing at that time. Sarah has a yawl rig with club stay-sail and furling jib.
Accommodations are traditional for the time of the design, and Sarah is incredibly well built and in good condition. She has an inboard diesel engine and can carry up to six passengers. Sarah carries a current Certificate of Inspection (COI) for chartering. She was built in San Rafael, CA, in a traditional manner of wooden boat building by Garvie Boat Works. Sarah is easily transported by truck thanks to the centerboard.
In Sarah you have the added benefit of a lovely classic design in a recently built boat. Sarah charters today and is ready for your next adventure.
