Belle is a classic 1929 design
bridge deck cruiser built in 1982
with a fiberglass hull… and a mahogany heart
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
We purchased Belle 13 years ago and have completely restored her. We've invested over $250,000 in total on Belle. (We will be selling her for much less). Virtually all systems are new. She has about 1,450 hours on her Isuzu 120 diesel engine and cruises at 9 knots using less than 2.5 gallons/hour. She is 47' long with a beam of 12 feet.
She is a very comfortable vessel with plenty of room. She can sleep four with her king size bed in the forepeak and on a U shaped couch that converts to a double bed. There is also a "captains berth" in the pilot house. She can seat six people in the main salon, four at the dining booth, three in the pilot house, four on the aft deck and two in the Titanic replica teak recliners on the foredeck. Belle would make a wonderful live-aboard, which she was for the 22 years before we purchased her.
I believe Belle was the only fiberglass boats allowed in this years Victoria Classic Boat Show. She has won the Peoples Choice Award two times at the Bell Harbor Classic Rendezvous, competing against about 50 other classic boats.
She is available with or without our boathouse at the Tacoma Yacht Club. Or, she could be purchased and moored in our boathouse for the winter.
If you know someone who might be interested in purchasing a modern classic we can forward more photographs and a current survey.
