- Pacific Northwest
It’s time to make plans to come to Edmonds. The Port has extended an invitation to the Pacific Northwest Fleet of Classic Yacht Association to be a guest of their 2013 Waterfront Festival.
The CYA Fleet will be one of the featured attractions of this years Festival scheduled for May 31st, June 1st and 2nd. Guest moorage has been offered free of charge Friday and Saturday night. Also, as usual the Port is providing a tote bag full of goodies to include free-bee’s and a discount card to use in Edmond’s at up to 70 local businesses.
The Port will also provide free Shuttle service to members who want to visit the businesses, etc. A brass participation plate will be provided to each CYA participant and we’ll have a potluck Saturday night.
Remember, a prerequisite of the free moorage is making your vessel available for boarding during the event on Saturday and Sunday from 10a.m. until 4p.m. Dockside moorage only for approved, registered members.
Members need to communicate their participation in this years “first come, first served” rendezvous to Bob Birdseye or Terrill Powell ASAP. Send your name, member number, vessel name and length to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com . Members that have verbally expressed interest in attending need to send a confirmation. Looking forward to another fun event at Edmonds this year.
