Belle is a classic 1929 design
bridge deck cruiser built in 1982
with a fiberglass hull… and a mahogany heart
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
We purchased Belle 15 years ago and completely restored her. In total we have made over $300,000 in improvements over and above her purchase price.. Virtually all systems are new. She has only about 1,500 hours on her Isuzu 120 diesel engine and cruises at 9 knots using about 2.5 gallons/hour. She is 47' long with a beam of 12 feet.
She is a very comfortable vessel with plenty of room. She can sleep four with her king size bed in the forepeak and on a U shaped couch that converts to a double bed. There is also a "captains berth" in the pilot house. She can seat six people in the main salon, four at the dining booth, three in the pilot house, four on the aft deck and two in the Titanic replica teak recliners on the foredeck.
She has won the Peoples Choice Award twice at the Bell Harbor Classic Rendezvous. She is one of the only fiberglass boats ever allowed to attend the Victoria Classic Boat Festival. We have cruised Belle from Olympia WA to the Broughton Islands. Belle would make a wonderful live-aboard, which she was for the 22 years before we purchased her. She is available with or without our boathouse (B246) at the Tacoma Yacht Club.
To reproduce Belle today with her custom mahogany and teak interior and exterior is estimated to cost about $1,500,000.00, she can be yours for $299,000.
